Energy of the Week: Gaia

Hello, Friends! I hope you've all been managing with the changes and transitions that this recent phase has brought upon us. We're not quite out of the period of transformation yet (Uranus, the planet of shifts, changes, rebellion, and freedom, will be in retrograde between now and January - yikes!) and we may be feeling a bit unsteady, unsure, or confused about all that is happening around us.

The Mother Earth energy, or Gaia, greets us this week with the important reminder that we are loved, held gently, and cared for. Gaia's energy appears when we need to remember our connection to the Earth, as she hosts us lovingly and holds us close. Much like last week's Shekinah energy which reminded us of our connection to all that is, Gaia's energy encourages us to remember our connection to the Earth - to find our footing amidst the changes that we are facing as Uranus shakes things up. Perhaps most important this week with all that will arise is to seek out your connection to our Earthly Mother. Actually spend time with Mother Nature this week in whatever way it is most supportive of you. Step in the dirt. Garden. Swim in the ocean. Hug a tree. Use your oils. Take time to smell the roses. Gaia is with us this week, and in her we can find solace, support, and protection as we step into the unknown of what lies ahead.
